500g beef mince
400g can tomato puree
400g can diced tomatoes
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 Tbspn olive oil
300-500g spaghetti or macaroni
Grated tasty or parmesan cheese
Heat oil in large frying pan and sauté garlic until soft.
Add mince and brown over medium-high heat stirring constantly.
Add diced tomatoes, tomato puree and ½ cup water.
Stir well then cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook pasta in boiling water as per packet instructions. Drain and top with bolognaise sauce.
Sprinkle on grated cheese for extra taste.
Alternatively saute onions and red chilli with the garlic or add some chilli powder or flakes for a spicy option.
Or simply just use a supermarket bought pasta sauce, too easy!
